It is the mission of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office to serve the citizens of the Delaware County with Honor, Integrity, Courage, Commitment and Professionalism through the prevention of crime, the operation of the County jail facility and service of civil process.

If a crime is committed in our county, our mission becomes the detection, apprehension and prosecution of the offender(s). To complete our mission, we must have the approval, cooperation and respect of the citizens of Delaware County.
